A Beauteous Feline Fellow
(August 18, 1990 - January 29, 2008)
A truly beautiful kitty
Of panthery grace and stature
A sleek and silky grayness-
But don't touch
He might scratch-yer!
Grown from a feisty, wee kitten,
Left on a low green hill,
He was found by a lovng person,
Whose tender heart loves him still.
Our lives were filled with wonder
As we watched him leap and run.
Aware of his beautiful self-ness
He knew that he was The One!
Strong and certain he seemed,
And secretly loved to snuggle
In a safe and warm little corner
And nestle, relax and cuddle.
The years had him growng more quiet,
And some pain seemed hard to bear,
But a dmall scent of succulent salmon
Brought him running to get his share.
Inky, you'll always be with us
In our memory and out heart.
Your steadfast and loyal devotion
Keeps you close and won't let us part.
